This term HPA have been continuing to work towards their Arts Mark Award with a literacy / dance project.  Continuing to maintain the GLC long standing relationship with The Royal Ballet and Opera HPA undertook and action research project. The study explored the relationship between active learning and empathy in primary school children’s creative writing. Specifically, it examined how empathy is demonstrated in children’s writing and their attitudes towards creative writing after participating in a 5-week Royal Ballet and Opera House Create & Dance active learning pilot.
