  • Chalk on the Playground!

    Published 01/05/25

This week, pupils at HPA have been using chalk to develop their curiosity and creativity on the playground. In the sunshine, pupils were creating their own games to learn their spellings, taking inspiration from their curriculum learning to draw masterpieces and designing obstacle courses. The atmosphere was calm, engaging and exciting. Pupils were proud of their creations and cannot wait until their next chalk day!

"I drew flowers and me and my friends wrote our names and initials. I enjoyed it as it is something new that we don’t normally do. We used our curiosity to explore different drawings." -  Bethany, Year 6

"I enjoyed creating a tic, tac, toe game with my friends and being able to play something different. We also created a game where you give each other a word and the other person had to hop to each letter to spell it. I used my creativity by making new games." - Darcie, Y5
