Year 3 had a fantastic trip to Hyde Hall, packed with hands-on learning and discovery. The day began with the children becoming plant scientists, exploring seeds and learning where everyday foods come from—there was great excitement in discovering that chocolate comes from cocoa pods and corn from sweetcorn! They then took part in a range of activities across outdoor and indoor learning zones, including plant hunting, creating nature bookmarks, building bird nests, making texture rubbings, learning about pollination, and designing their own recycled plant pots to take home. The children had an amazing time and demonstrated exemplary behaviour throughout. We are incredibly proud of them and would like to extend a huge thank you to our parent helpers for their invaluable support in making the day possible.
