Reception had a Visit from Professor Memo!

Reception had a very special visitor this term: the wonderful Professor Memo! She’s on a mission to recruit some new palaeontologists for the Royal Dinosaur Club and asked our mini-explorers for their help. To get started, the children trained as palaeontologists, learning how to work as a team and use their trowels safely. Their hard work paid off as they uncovered bones, fossils, and even a mysterious orange blob with a bug inside! Through their research, they’ve identified dinosaur relics, compared herbivore and carnivore teeth, and discovered that fossilised tree sap is called amber. To top it all off, they’ve been busy perfecting Professor Memo’s fossil song with actions. It looks like there might have been dinosaurs right under our school!
