Year 2 had an exciting and educational day out at Colchester Zoo! The children enjoyed seeing a wide range of animals, including elephants, giraffes, and penguins. A particular highlight was visiting the meerkats and realising just how much knowledge the children already had about them—they impressed everyone with their facts and observations! It was a fantastic experience that brought their learning about animals and their habitats to life.
